Greg was one of the key architects of the two-way peg which makes sidechains possible. He has been a Bitcoin core developer since 2011, and is one of the most active reviewers of cryptographic protocol proposals in the Bitcoin industrial ecosystem. Antonopoulos is a technologist and serial entrepreneur who has become one of the most well-known and well-respected figures in bitcoin. He is the author of “Mastering Bitcoin”, published by O’Reilly Media and considered by many to be the best technical guide to bitcoin. As an engaging public speaker, teacher and writer, Andreas makes complex subjects accessible and easy to understand. As an advisor, he helps startups recognize, evaluate, and navigate security and business risks.<br /><br />As a bitcoin entrepreneur, Andreas has founded a number of bitcoin businesses and launched several community open-source projects. He is a widely published author of articles and blog posts on bitcoin, is a permanent host on the popular Let’s Talk Bitcoin Podcast, and a frequent speaker at technology and security conferences worldwide. Matt Corallo is a long-time Bitcoin developer who has been working on pioneering sidechain and Bitcoin extensibility technology since its inception. He has actively contributed to Bitcoin Core and its testing infrastructure, and to BitcoinJ, a Java implementation mainly focussed on lightweight applications. Michael Perklin is the president of C4, a non-profit standards organization dedicated to developing and maintaining standards that assist organizations in using blockchain technology such as Bitcoin. I managed to watch a couple of videos 1/2 way through until I had to admit that I know far too little about this subject to make use of this particular channel.
I get the basic idea(s) behind crypto-currency etc, but this content is far too specific for me.

Yup. it sad. Crypto didn’t keep its promises. I think the main reason is that all those 2008-2013 hardcore guys like we’ve seen on that channels are already rich as fuck and pretty much moved on to just being rich. Like, the biggest thing in 2021 was a revamp of dogecoin… Fuck that, we’re running in circles and nothing serious happened in the last 10… Read more »

Too bad this channel isn’t updated anymore.
The content was top notch and still relevant today.
Anyone starting in crypto in the 2020’s should watch these conferences just to have a glimpse of what the industry was about in its early days.

Yup. it sad. Crypto didn’t keep its promises. I think the main reason is that all those 2008-2013 hardcore devs like we’ve seen on that channels are already minted as fuck and pretty much moved on to just being rich. Like, the biggest thing in 2021 was a revamp of dogecoin… Hell, we’re running in circles and no major leap happened in the last 10… Read more »
